I Am The Bridge

To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings." 1 Cor 9:22-23 NIV

Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."http://

''I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And that which I can do, by the grace of God, I will do." D.L. Moody:

ATTEND THE CHURCH OF YOUR CHOICE!

Our Purpose:
  • To introduce and provide a medium for all Christians, enabling them to spread the Gospel. This is God's purpose for every living Christian. In the opening scripture above, Jesus did not say that the whole world should go to church; He said the church should go into the whole world. But the internet provides opportunity to do both --  to go into the world and bring them to church. The Internet is the new missions field of the 21st century, and we all have the potential to serve as cyber-evangelists. Reaching out across the world is as easy as sitting down at our computers.  God has provided every living Christian a special gift that can be used as a "Bridge" that reaches into the secular world of the unchurched through the internet that can bring them to Christ.. This site enables the Christian to evangelize even if they have very limited knowledge of scripture, or communication skills. Everything is provided on this site for you.

  • Just by driving traffic to this site you have provided a way to tell others about Jesus, how to find Him, and a support system to help them grow in Christ.  Any Church can have a cyber missionary group within the Church that can reach thousands, and bring new members into their Church through a "bridge ministry". The links provided on this site offers free training to all.

  • To assist and encourage Christians --That prefers not to use the internet --  to find and use their God given gifts to provide a bridge between the church and the unsaved -- Thousands of churches and individuals are reaching out to the unchurched through the internet by finding common ground with them. However Paul had no internet available. Though we consider this “Bridge Ministry” to be fairly new, Paul practiced and encouraged others to use this method in his time.

To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” --  1 Corinthians 9:22-23.

Paul’s first priority in life was to bring others to Christ. He says I’ll do whatever it takes as long as it doesn’t go against God’s Word.

What if you could participate in an activity that you live for to do, and in the process bring 100 new members to your church every year? After reading the following information you’ll see that it is so easy you’ll wonder why more people haven’t heard of it. And why we don’t just do it?

It’s called bridging or “Bridge Ministries”. We often don’t realize that some of the best gifts that God has given us, are the things we love to do the most. We often think of those gifts as something God has blessed us with, to bring us joy and pleasure to our lives. While this is true, those gifts were also given to us to serve as a bridge to bring others into the church, and to Him.  Bringing others to Christ doesn’t have to be a struggle. It can be as simple as sharing "What you love to do" with others.

We have also been given gifts through our trials. Everyone has, or will encounter a major tragedy in their life. As Christians when we find victory over these trials through faith in God, they too, become gifts that can be used to comfort others and bring them to Christ. Almost every church has had a member that has had an abortion, lost a loved one, or recovered from drugs or alcohol. And many have used these  victories as a bridge to reach the unchurched.

"What a wonderful God we have - He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does He do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us" -- 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.

What's your bridge? -- Common interest, hobbies, life situations, work experiences, health conditions, causes, etc., can each be used as the "BRIDGE" to enter the world of the unchurched. A bridge presents opportunities to develop friendships and dialogue, which gently brings them into your church community.

Most of the links on this site  teaches you to use the internet as a bridge ministry. However, most of the information can be converted to a local bridge ministry by advertising through classifieds and through members of your bridge ministry recruiting the unchurched to participate in your monthly woodcarving group, barbeque cook off, etc.

My prayer is that thousands will come to know Christ through this site. But only God has the power to save a soul. I can only bring others to Him.  I have learned through His word that it's the hard fought race that counts to Him. My reward in heaven and earth will  not be determined by the success of this ministry, but in my commitment to obedience, and to bring others to Him.
